Those of you who came around my blog last year may have noticed that I didn’t put on my Halloween costume this year. Last year I had a grayscale version of this template with red blood dripping fonts. I’m not sure why I decided against putting it on this year. It requires a tweak or two of the CSS and it’s nothing I can’t do but I just didn’t feel like doing it. Might have something to do with the fact that I don’t feel like having a birthday this year.

One of Rott’s favorite bands of all time is Judas Priest. I know Priest, but not nearly as well as Rott does. He does a great impersonation of Rob Halford, knows all the songs, all the lyrics, every freaking note… I’m old and my memory doesn’t work as well as it used to. I shove a lot of stuff out to make room for more current stuff. I don’t listen to Priest so much anymore, so of course I barely remember how some of the songs go.

Yes, my Monday morning date with Marcus is late. I am still recovering from a weekend of debauchery fun at Dave Diego on Saturday and with Hilly, Karl, the gays, and Othurme on Sunday. The past few years have been so rough on me emotionally that I have forgotten what it is like to truly have friends and have fun. I am more grateful than I can convey for the friends I have made here in the PRB.

You know it’s gonna be a good day when you haven’t had a call from your honey in a month, and then you get two right before/as you’re leaving for Dave Diego. I was all choked up just hearing his voice. It was the icing on the cake, even before I got the cake!
