Before you read this, you might want to read Jester, Britt, and my post from yesterday including the comments. What’s written below pertains to all of these posts.
After yesterday’s soul baring post about my writing and self esteem, I have something that seems, on the surface, to go along with it nicely. I took this damned color test thingy because Jester did. I wondered if the color thing explained why Jester had been annoyed recently. Maybe it explains why I’ve been so moody lately. That would certainly be the answer for someone who believes in karma and fate and all that stuff....

You know that 100 Things thing that everyone seems to have on their blog? I suppose I’ll do it too even though it’s not very original of me. I mean, I guess there could be someone out there curious enough to read that much stuff about me. I’ve already done some posts about odd things about me. I’ve used them to start a 100 Things page. I’ll add it to the 100 Things today by doing a Thursday Thirteen. Today’s theme is, thirteen things about me and work.
1. When I was in college I worked in an auto repair shop. Three of the customers were famous. One was the valley...

This Thursday Thirteen is about the Bar vampires. Thirteen facts about them. Don’t make the mistake of thinking you know these bits of info. These bloodsuckers are nothing like Dracula or Nosferatu!
1. The Bar vampires are not the undead. In the Otherworld, they’re basically another species. They eat and drink and can be injured. They procreate. They have sex… a lot. That doesn’t sound too dead to me.
2. The vampire deity is the Mother of All Vampires. She has a cauldron full of golden orbs that represent her children. She works very hard to match them all up with the...

This is a special Thursday 13. It is my 100th blog post. Well, if you don’t count the guest posts I did for Kyra Sutra and Bluepaintred or the ones I took down and moved to a different blog because of the “Karled” incident. Today, my TT is about the 100 posts on this blog.
1. My most popular post was a TT. It was on March 12 and it was “Thirteen Things I know Because I work at a Cemetery.”
2. The first post I did was about how I came to be a blogger. It was all about how I started visiting Andrei Andrei’s blog. (Yes, Fab. He’s Romanian. A Hot Romanian...

I’ve been pondering things lately. In my life, blogs, forums, websites, boards, work… just everywhere. Part of my pondering had to do with the things I post. I don’t really like to be predictable, which is why things like TT and HNT aren’t exactly my thing. I know they tend to draw traffic to your blog, but the reality here is… do you see any ads? Do I look like I’m whoring for traffic? Hee hee.
Now, if you have ads on your blog, don’t get all offended. That was a rather tongue in cheek remark and not meant to infer that those of you with ads on your blogs...

This Thursday Thirteen is about cemeteries again. This time it’s 13 random things about cemeteries, graves, related websites and tours, famous deaths, etc. Just a collection of odd bits that you might find fascinating or gruesome. My personal favorite: #1. I could spend hours touring that cemetery using the virtual tour!
1. Pere Lachaise Cemetery – This is one of the most famous cemeteries in Paris. Lots of famous people buried there including Jim Morrison. The thing I like about it, is that it has this virtual tour on it’s website… it’s just like walking through...

This hasn’t been the best of weeks for me. Those of you who came by last week will notice that my last TT is missing from this blog. I removed it. On purpose. Just because someone might misconstrue it. If you really wanna know where it is now, email me. I’ll let you in.
So I don’t have a TT prepared. I’m winging it with some help from the Bar.
Thirteen Mysterious Characters from the Bar Story
1. Macaire – Macaire is a Fallen Angel. The FAs are very powerful. Marius the Archangel “creates” the angels from children who died. The FAs are supposed to...

Kiss me. People don’t say those words any longer. They just do it. Sometimes I wonder where the romance in a simple kiss has gone. Everyone thinks it’s so much more romantic to shove your hand down someone’s pants. Okay, maybe I do like the latter, but I like the former as well. Therefore, I give you, 13 kisses from the Bar Story.
Thirteen Kisses from the Bar Story
1. Alaric and Alexandria’s first kiss:
I found myself staring at Alaric while Carlisle’s beautiful voice sang to Stein. Suddenly, I wished with all my heart that Alaric would love me. That he would...

This week it’s all about the music. Not 13 songs from my iPod. Don’t own one. Not my 13 favorite songs. Can’t choose. No, these are 13 songs that made a key post even better! They are all posts from the Bar, of course, but the music really has helped shape the stories of certain characters. These are different genres of songs, for different characters, and chosen by different writers. Also, it’s not just a list, it’s 13 linked tunes, just for you! Enjoy! (I had embedded tunes, but the players were locking up browsers when Imeem turned to shit late Wed night.)
Thirteen...

Remember that last week I got the idea from Susan’s TT for a Bar themed TT? Well, this is it. It’s a little long so I hope you’ll bear with me. I always feel like I’m overloading you all on the Bar, but I promise not to do every TT on this story! At any rate, even though there are more than 13 couples in the story, here are 13 hot Bar couples!
Thirteen Immortal Couples from The Bar Story
1. Lucius Kohl and Opal Morgan – Luc is a vampire and Opal is an elemental. She can control the elements. When Luc makes her cry, it rains. The two of them have had a very rocky...

Arrrgh! Susan over at West of Mars did a TT that juiced me up to do 13 Bar couples this week. I’d been feeling kinda meh about that topic and wrote up 13 things I know because I work at a cemetery. Now I can’t make up my mind! I’d do both, just cause I could, and because I’m a lamer who can’t choose. However, time constraints are forcing me to go with my ghoulish cemetery TT.
Thirteen Things I Know Because I Work at a Cemetery
1. The big oven used to do cremations is called a retort.
2. Cremains are not ash like in a fireplace. It’s more like fine sand. In...

This is Blog Reader Appreciation Week so I thought I’d post the 13 most amusing (to me anyway) comments that have been posted on my blog in the last six months. The problem is that I can’t choose. I have 22 and they are in no particular order. Oh, well. Just consider it a week’s worth of extras in this Thursday Thirteen. 1. othurme A list of things that are under appreciated: Bacon The End 2. Shiny Gal “Oh, Jimmy. This is never going to work when your cock keeps snapping off.” 3. Jason X Zombies have great sex, they just can’t ever reach a climax. It’s very frustrating...
